State Representative Edward Vigil: Representing House District 62!
Welcome to the official archive of State Representative Edward Vigil's campaign website for Colorado House District 62. Rep. Vigil was elected in 2008 to represent the San Luis Valley and surrounding communities in the Colorado Legislature.
Representative Vigil served on the Colorado House Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee and the House Local Government Committee during the 2009 legislative session. A sixth-generation native of the San Luis Valley, Rep. Vigil championed rural issues, substance abuse treatment access, and responsible local governance throughout his tenure.
During the 2009 session, Rep. Vigil was named one of the "Top 10 winners of the session" by Colorado Pols, recognizing his effective advocacy for his district and the people of southern Colorado.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my new website. Your continued interest and support is essential in maintaining a transparent and accountable government that works for you, the hardworking people of Colorado. Just yesterday, I introduced a bill in the House that extends the period for which state income tax return forms shall include a line whereby individual taxpayers may make a voluntary contribution to the nongame and endangered wildlife fund. This bill, HB09-1294, has been assigned to the Finance Committee.
